The Serenity Ring is a ring used for special occasions and is not made to withstand everyday use. With other rings, such as the Halo ring , if the setting covers the entire side and bottom of the stone, it will be less susceptible to impact and reduce contact with other parts, but the Serenity Ring has a setting that completely covers the sides and bottom of the stone. It is installed in a prong setting by a claw clasp. Before purchasing, please be aware that the shape of the stone is handmade and that the claw clasp holds the stone firmly in place, so it may not be perfectly straight. If the claw clasp becomes loose for some reason, we can repair it, but wear and tear due to rough handling is not covered. If your clasp is damaged and you would like to replace it with a new ring, you will need to pay for the new setting and have the stones from your original ring shipped back to us. Although the Serenity ring is a delicate piece of jewelry, it can also contain hair or an umbilical cord, and some people want it as a fleeting but memorable keepsake, so we offer this as an option.
